Job Summmary
As a Personnel Security Specialist (Stakeholder Liaison) at the GS-0080-13, you will be part of Suitability Executive Agent Programs, Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will be responsible for working with internal and external stakeholders to share vetting related information, assess needs, assist with problem resolution, and interpret guidance and requirements.

Qualification
For the GS 13: You must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience performing the work of a Personnel Security Specialist. This experience must include ALL of the following: (1) Resolving highly complex issues related to suitability adjudication, position designation, and/or fitness determinations; (2) Developing input to make the suitability adjudication process more efficient and effective for federal agency customers; (3) Educating customers on matters related to vetting, suitability, and fitness for federal employment; AND (4) Interpreting written laws, rules and regulations applicable to the operations or performance of suitability related functions. This experience must be comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service (obtained either in private or public sectors). Note: Your resume must fully support this experience. Applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-12 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 level. You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
